I will tell about profitable forex carry trade system that I use myself :

 

• pairs AUD/JPY ; GBP/JPY ; NZD/JPY

• open just „BUY” (long) positions

• entry signal will find with an indicator CCI (14) on 1 Day graphic , the signal is when an indicator show less than ( -100)

• a leverage not more than 1:2

• Stop Loss = 500 pips , Take Profit = 1500 pips , Trailing Stop will move after each 100 pips along amount to non-loss zone , than we waiting when a price to reach Take Profit

• this position earn 1-2 pips as positive swaps each day

• dont open a deal if you have already opened position

• deals amount will be 4-6 per year , single deal lifetime is 1-2 month

 

of course , will be battle casualties , but you will take approximately +50% profit per year!

for sure, this is not the year for carry trade.

since the beggining from january it look like a choopy year.

Certainly this was not the year for carry trade!

 

As the Romanian speakers here knew, I had many attempts to open a carry on GJ in the last few moths. One of them hit the SL that was already moved to positive territory, bringing me about a hundred pips, all the other hit the SL at negative, for a totally loss of about 750 pips.

 

Monday (yesterday) after I saw that the price filled back the negative gap I went again long for 50 cents a pip at 142.8 with the stop at 139.10 (370 pips). That is below the deep recorded few weeks ago. Well... we had a deeper low last week, at 138.9, after a sell push that was defended, so I hope it will not ho deeper. It seems as it is starting to built some upper pressure. the trade is on profit now, but did not move the SL to positive yet, currently at 139.6, and let's pray we won't see a new low this month
